  • Bangkok - visiting in April - travel advise needed?

I'm going to Bangkok in April. What do I need to know -- local knowledge that isn't found on the tourist website. Places that are worth seeing, and is the Chatuchak market only open during the weekend.

I'm not going to be there during the weekend, are their alternative shopping spots.

  • How long do you have to stay off your feet after the calf tattoo?

nothing huge, a couple of lines. My artist told me it would take an hour at most.

I run five to six kilometers a day and practice a bit of taichi. Plus, I have friends dropping over in three days time for a visit and we will be outdoor a lot.

I want to plan my schedule before I get my tattoo, not after. So anyone with advice.

Anyway, is it because of the pain that people are advice to stay off their feet or is it something else?

  • Is there a way of determining is there is an extra RAM in the computer without opening the cover?

Before I came home for the holidays my brother said he plugged in an extra RAM to our parent's machine but it is very slow. It's my turn at home (holidays) and I want to find out if the extra RAM is working. How do I do that without opening the cover (old P4 machine). I can't remember what the original RAM was so looking at systems properties doesn't help.

Thank you - to anyone who can help me out.

  • Short interviews with single people on leftovers in their fridge, how they dine?

This is for a module so please reply anyway you like (I tried a simple question before but the answers feel incomplete) -- what I'd like to know is about people who are single and who live alone about their eating habits, cooking habits and what they do with leftovers. Do you eat out with friends, cook at someone elses' place and stuff like that.

If you are college student, it would be great too :D

  • Traveling to Denpasar, Bali -- need advice?

I'm going to Bali Denpasar for a conference so thought I'd spend a couple of days (about 2 and a half) looking over the place.

Does anyone have any advice. (places to stay, see, do) safe for single female traveling alone -- I prefer climbing volcanoes and stuff to diving. How much a taxi from the airport might cost. How difficult is it for people to get around?

Also, do people give presents before Christmas (I don't celebrate Christmas myself)

I'm going home for Christmas so want to give it before I leave

  • When you go to the Zoo to see the elephants, do you wish you can interact with them more?

what would you like to do with an elephant at the zoo. It doesn't matter, ride them, play with them ... I'm doing a small research regarding the community zoo and how to improve visitor / elephant interaction. It's hard to get people to talk about it so maybe asking about it online would help. (I think -- I hope)
