Will be here for 3 days. Went to the pier sathon(?) And the people were unhelpful and/or did not speak English. I am one person so did not want to hire an entire boat. Is there a ferry? How do the locals go there. Don,t tell me they all hire boats?

I need examples on objects that weight 5000Kg so I can say, 'an elephant can weigh up to 5000 Kg -- that's as heavy as a ...what ... train....

This is for a module so please reply anyway you like (I tried a simple question before but the answers feel incomplete) -- what I'd like to know is about people who are single and who live alone about their eating habits, cooking habits and what they do with leftovers. Do you eat out with friends, cook at someone elses' place and stuff like that.
