what is your favorite "book" by Shakespeare?

Hamlet, Taming of The Shrew...those "books"

Update:

well Neonman, the ones I have, have words on pages with hardbound covers at the beginning and end of the pages that have the words on them

book - A book is a set or collection of written, printed, illustrated, or blank sheets, made of paper, parchment, or other various material, usually fastened together to hinge at one side

I love lines and phrases more than I love the "books" of Shakespeare. I'm that way with all books, actually. I love to read a dozen words that just stop me.

And now, a game. I'm going to open a "complete Shakespeare" and point blindly, see how many times I have to do that before I find something worth quoting here....

    One:

    Henry IV Part 1

Hotspur (having just been ordered by the king to "send us your prisoners.")

And if the devil come and roar for them,

I will not send them: I will after straight

And tell him so, for I will ease my heart,

Albeit I make a hazard of my head.

Isn't that so much better than the "Eff that, I ain't gonna do what he says" that you'd hear in today's entertainment?

Sorry, that was the opposite of an answer.

I love the use of books in this context. Mine has always been 12th night. Primarily not for the references to a religion or a season, but for a celebration with a reason.

To me Macbeth is mostly attractive.Specially the discourse of Macbeth likewise 'It is a tale told by an idiot full of sound and fury signifying nothing' I have to remember always.Sometime I think this is the only and final truth.

Books? Weren't they plays and collections of sonnets?

Edit: So now we are into semantics? You may have books, but how were they published back then?

Romeo and Juliet, the play. Never read the book.

I favor many of his classic famous quotes, from all his works.
