A question about PC/DVD-ROM compatability on my computer?
I just got GTA:SA for pc but cant play it because my pc is old and it doesnt have pc-dvd drive built in, but would it work to run the game though my external dvd drive connected via USB or would it read differently or some thing?

Yes should work but if your PC is so old as not to have a DVD drive the chances are the game will run so slow it will be unplayable.

That would work fine. But the real question is is the rest of your computer good enough to run the game? If it's that old it might not.

you will get an exterior USB DVD - rom force or for some money more advantageous you will get one which will burn CD's and DVD's. you ought to also be able to play video games with them to boot.
