how do you flash a bios old fashion way? (shorting out some pins)?

Question

well i over clocked my ram with out upping the voltage to the rest of the computer and so now when i boot it up its taking power away from monitor and keyboard communication so i can't do anything so i'm left to flashing it the old fashion way. how would i go about doing that? all i know if you need to short out some pins and it will reset bios to default and if you mess up can kill the motherboard (which i have a new one thats going in soon but this one has some features the new one does for a few test i need to run so thats why i would like to do this before i replace it)

There should be a "jumper" on your motherboard which allows to reset BIOS, however there's an easier way. Find Large round battery on your motherboard (that's what's keeping BIOS powered on when you turn off your computer) and carefully remove it with small flat screwdriver or knife. Wait for 10-30 minutes and put it back. BIOS should reset at this point.

either your motherboard will have a CMOS flash button, a memory ok button on newer motherboards automatically clocking your ram to its stock state. or a series of 4 pins near the CPU with a plastic bit on it connecting a couple of the pins, the manual will tell you where to move this white bit to reset the bios, then you have to boot, then switch off move the white thing back and start up like normal

trusted the sword and the custom. for the period of wars sword scould be dished out many many at a time and weren't continually the perfect high quality. i think that the Lord and girls of olde in all probability could have been satisfied to deliver the commoner armies out with purely shields yet that could in all probability be undesirable PR.
