This code could be caused by an error in your hard drive. You should check for errors on your hard drive. To do this, if your running XP, go to http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/helpandsu... and follow the on screen instructions. For Vista or Windows 7, go to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/C... and follow the on screen instructions.
If it does find an error, have it fix it and then try running AVG again. If it doesn't find an error, try re-installing AVG. If that fails, it may be caused by a virus. In that case:
1. Go to http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and download the free version.
2. Once installed, update the program to the latest database.
3. Run a quick scan and quarantine any threats it finds.
4. Do the same thing with a full scan.
Hope this helps!
