Bears and Pack fans: deep down do you not want to see that NFC champ match-up?

I'm a Packers fan, and I just can't stand the thought of losing to the Bears in the NFC Championship. I'm sure Bears fans feel the same way about losing to the Packers. The Bears would have to be slight favorites at home but it's a game that could go any way. As "epic" as it might be, given the rivalry, a loss for either side would be incredibly hard to take. Not to mention how obnoxious the fans of the other team would be.

On the other hand, if your team won... awesome.

    yes, i want to see it.

  • I like the Packers' chances against Seattle much better than against the Bears. I do love epic games, but any conference championship game can be epic, and I'm more worried about the Packers advancing.

    specific, yet thinking they have been an 11-5 and a interest removed from the excellent Bowl in 2010, and on the verge of yet another 10+ win season final 12 months in the previous they have been hit annoying with accidents, the two seasons being without authentic variety one wideout, the addition of Marshall on my own would desire to do plenty to push them over the right. they won't have the wonderful receivers or superb QB interior the NFC North, yet they do arguably have the main balanced offense now and superb QB-WR-RB mixture with Cutler, Marshall, and area of expertise/Bush. The Bears in basic terms weak point on offense now could be their offensive line, yet thinking the undeniable fact that many of their starters are youthful and function shown consistent progression, have been harm by making use of accidents over the previous couple of seasons, and could face much less tension because of the departure of Mike Martz, there isn't any reason to have confidence they gained't get extra constructive. And while the Bears misplaced to the Lions on MNF, they have been lacking 2 commencing offensive linemen, the two commencing safeties, their superb receiver Earl Bennett, and Julius Peppers for many of the interest, and nonetheless the sole misplaced by making use of 11 specially with the aid of 2 massive performs which have been specially a effect of their protection being crushed up. I swear i'd desire to have defined this to Lions followers a million situations and that they nonetheless proceed to behave as their MNF win became into extra respected than their loss to the Bears.

    Actually I'd much rather see that match up and lose than never see it at all. It's just too epic to turn down since, chances are, this might not have a chance at happening for awhile after this season ends.

    @Jake-

    Bears 20-17 at Soldier Field

    Packers 10-3 at Lambeau Field

    You think that splitting close games is not competing at all? Lol

    That won't happen because the Seahawks shall beat the Bears this Sunday. The NFC Championship is going to be Packers vs. Seahawks at Qwest Field on January 23, 2010.

    You Packers fans don't have to worry about the Bears. If you beat the Falcons, your in the Super Bowl. The Bears can't compete with you at all.

    @ Beaner- Who got cheated against the Bears twice? So you can thank the refs for that, buddy.
