Why isn't my iPod connecting to wifi?

Every time it would automatically connect to my iPod, now it doesn't. My wifi is protected and if I go to click it to type in the password on my iPod, it just says it can't connect. I checked my router and the light that's "wifi/internet" is on.. what should I do?

    Have you recently reset your ipod? If so then you just need to go into your router programs and allow devices on your router ( would elaborate but i dont know what router you have). This setting is on the setup cd

    Restore your iPod from iTunes then resync your stuff. All I can suggest.
