I get everyday "Autorun.inf" warning although...... (please help me out!)?
I have installed Resident Shield which automatically checks every sort of outer memory I connect with the computer. However yesterday I didn't connect absolutely anything, I was just surfing online, when the program told me it had encountered an autorun. I had it deleted, ok. However it did the same thing today too. It's strange. I have installed Norton Internet Security. I always surf only safe sites (which are marked green both by Norton and WOT --- firefox add-on---). Norton however hasn't picked up anything. (and no, it was not on the same sites that the warning appeared).
I am worried. Is my Norton faulty or is Resident Shield going nuts?
I never had problems with Resident Shield before. I have used in another PC for a year or so and so have my cousins. And I have actually bought it long ago. It baffles me as to why this strange behavior. I am scared I might have a worm. Warms are a death sentence for my computer.

don't worry dude.. this is done because of a rouge antivirus ( actually this is fake antivirus which asks you to buy it and will steal your personal information if you try to purchase it.)
My suggestion is to remove it.
do the following
log in to http://www.norton.com/npe
download norton power eraser. its a free tool from norton (Symantec). run it. you will get the scan result. manually choose and remove the file

If you have any disks in any of your drives (Floppy/DVD/CD) remove them and see if the error keeps coming up.
