Yes! Audacity is perfect!
1. Import your track (File-Import-Audio)
2. Then highlight it so you can modify it (click on the gray space below the volume controls on the left side of the track)
3.Then modify it to your liking (Effect-Change Pitch)
4.Save the project, the audacity file that you can further modify, by (File-Save Project As)
5.To save it as a new audio file for your iPod or something you must export it (File-Export)
