I have been to Coney Island and not sure why people think Sonic is in comparison. Way off, just my opinion.

We just aren't too big into Coney Island hot dogs in this area, I'm afraid. Even Der Wienerschnitzel couldn't make it, and if you can't make it as a hog dog buffet, you're sunk.
You'll just have to satisfy yourself with the chili cheese dog from Sonic. It's big, and it will give you the heartburn you desire.

Sonic advertises a Coney Dog on their menu, and they are all over the KC Metro. Find one and try it out, see if it fits the bill.
