  • What day to do Magic Kingdom on long week-end?

We will be going to Disney for Martin Luther King week-end, January, 2012. I'm thinking that Monday will be the least busy day, even though it is a holiday, because people will have to leave Monday morning to get back to work for Tuesday. I want to do the Magic Kingdom on the least busy day of the week-end (and I figured both Saturday and Sunday will be very busy due to the long week-end)... would you pick Friday or Monday? Why?

  • How many wrong things can you find in this article?

CNN ran an article today about Disney ( http://www.cnn.com/2011/TRAVEL/03/01/bt.disney.wor... )

How many things can you find wrong with it? Since most everyone will pounce on the parking advice, I'll start with the "Running Man" method of fast passes. i.e. "we send the fastest member of our pack bobbing and weaving through the crowds to collect passes for everyone."

Awesome - send one of your people tearing through the crowds, knocking over small children, running into little old ladies and generally being a safety issue so you can do a fast pass greedy grab. That SO embodies what the spirit of Disney is about.

  • Tasting Menu in Breckenridge, CO?

I will be in Breckenridge, CO this spring and we are wondering if there are any restaurants which are based on the tasting menu style of operation. This is where the menu doesn't consist of meals. Everything on the menu comes as two or three bites. You order a bunch of different things which comprises your meal. Is there anything like that in Breckenridge? Thanks!

  • If you could go to Disney World with anyone, who would you choose - and why?

Just for a little variety in this section... Please be sure to give your reasons why you chose that person - that is what I will base best answer on - Talk me into it! There is no limit on the number of people you can list. Here are a couple of my choices:

Lewis Black and Bill Burr - I have a bit of a warped sense-of-humor and the idea of being at the happiest place on earth with two of the most miserable people on the planet amuses me to no end! I'm giggling just thinking about the rants and raves they could come up with.

Cleopatra and Anne Boleyn - They were intelligent and charismatic. You never know what sort of unexpected opportunities will develop when you're with intelligent and charismatic people. I bet THEY'D get picked to be in the parades!!

Remember, this is all about a Disney state-of-mind and personal opinions - there are no wrong answers - so I want to see lots of thumbs up and no thumbs down (unless someone tries to sell us a Dell!!)

  • Which Disney roller coaster won't make me sick?

I can do up and down hills fine, but I can't take the spiraling around and around. Space Mountain made me nauseated for about 3 hours. Does Disney have a coaster I can ride? (If you're familiar with Cedar Point's Blue Streak - that is a coaster I can ride)

  • Disney Trivia for Disney Fans - Just Because?

Just because I'm tired of seeing the same questions over and over again, how about a little Disney trivia to break it up?

Disney released two unrelated movies 27 years apart in which the father figure has the same name. What are the movies and what is the shared name? Good Luck!

  • Disney Boardwalk / Epcot Biergarten?

Is the Boardwalk a destination unto itself? If we have some time to kill on a Wednesday afternoon, is it worth going to the boardwalk? Are there things to see and do there?

Now this next question is a little "101" when it comes to Disney, but it's never come up for me before. Many of the menus for restaurants in the world showcase specifically state what kind of adult beverages are available... but not Germany's. My next trip down will be with some beer drinkers, but I can't find anything on-line to actually confirm they sell beer in the Biergarten - they do, right?
