    Matthew 7:24-25

24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

    The rock = Christ!

Jesus is comparing the rock to something immovable that will not fall when time, weather or anything else comes against it. Jesus called Peter a rock as well, meaning Peter will be rock solid in his faith and not fall when something apposes him.

Jesus is our rock and if we build our lives on him. Our lives can not fall or be washed away or crumble when things come against it.

    bless you.

We want to build or lives on a rock. Sand and dirt can be washed away, but the rock remains. A rock is solid and constant, great place for a house or our lives. Jesus is our rock.
