What were the goals of the Cuban Revolution?

i was looking through a site that had all the Revolutions and i was wondering what was the goal or point of the Cuban Revolution?

    The only reason for that was to topple down the U.S.-backed and corrupt regime of Fulgencio Batista and replace it with a communist government led by Fidel Castro...In other words, Cuban Revolution has abolished capitalism and installed socialism, eroding all kinds of social classes...
