How in the WORLD did you come up with this TWISTED misinterpretation of the Bible?

Unless it was a dream, or a prophesy, the Bible is to be taken literally, unless otherwise stated, within that passage. This passage is very literal. The serpent tricked Eve, and Eve told Adam, and they both sinned, thus bringing death into the world... And Abel and Cain were NOT twins. Or the Bible would have said it. So just go back to your day job and stop trying to interpret the Bible... it's obviously NOT working for you...

That cannot be the reason "some people are bad" because: a) ALL PEOPLE are bad, not just descendants of Cain and b) there was a GIGANTIC FLOOD that killed off everyone except Noah's family, so nobody today is descended from Cain. The thought that satan was the father of one of Eve's children has been used by racists for generations to condemn people of "inferior" skin, but it has no Biblical basis and it is questionable if such a thing was ever possible, seeing as satan is a spirit and Eve was a human being. The simple fact is Cain did the same as the rest of us: he was selfish. Good thing is God doesn't care and He loves us all anyway, sending Jesus! :)

No, in fact, it is explicitly stated that Cain was conceived by Adam and Eve. However, Abel's conception was not as explicit.

[1] And Adam knew Eve his wife: who conceived and brought forth Cain, saying: I have gotten a man through God. [2] And again she brought forth his brother Abel.

edit: You could be right about the twins theory, though. However, I don't believe Satan has literal seed. I think the fall brought about a spiritual enmity, of jealousy and the like, which is particularly observable among brothers. I mean, look at the Muslims and the Jews who are still arguing and killing each other over land and about Ishmael and Isaac.

Satan did have sex with Eve and their child is Cain and he and Abel are twins but Abel s father is Adam and there is a ton of info to back this up on the internet and many churches teach this, also. Why not read up on it before you jump to conclusions and say it is not true.

The Tree of knowledge good and evil is simbolic not literal. A Tree does not know good or evil. The Devil has many names in the bible. In Rev-12-9 says And the great dragon( which is satan) was cast out that old serpent called the Devil and Satan which deceiveth the whole world he was cast out into the earth and his angels were cast out with him. That just proves that it was satan in the garden not some talking snake on a tree.

If that was so, what is the point of the tree in the middle of the garden? That's why she knew she was naked.
