Info on Michael Jackson`s Religion?
I have seen some people here say that Michael Jackson was one of Jeovah`s Witnesses . My limited research supports the fact that About 25 years ago he announced that he was no longer a Jehovah's Witness. But practiced Kabbalah which is a form of Judaism. That is what the red string on his left wrist signified.
can anyone add to this ?

He very publicly announced his conversion to Islam - how did you miss it?!

He grew up under the training of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society as a Jehovah's Witness. He separated from them and by no ability joined yet another team. Michael Jackson became perpetually inspired by applying the training of the Watch Tower. He did study many distinctive religions over his lifetime.

He WAS a Jehovah's Witness.. but yes, 25 years ago, he ended up becoming the most successful celebrity & apparently the JW Community had an outrage about it. Especially with the song 'Thriller'.. they felt he was bashing the religion.
So he stopped being a JW, but still was a Christian. He constantly said in Interviews he was a spiritual person.. not religious strictly, but spiritual. Always prayed and meditated. He's also referenced Jesus & the bible alot of times, so he was probably Christian.

His whole family were Jehovah Witnesses. It's true he tried out the Islamic faith but he also went into the Kabbalic traditions. I've heard or read somewhere the red string is suppose to ward off the evil one or the evil eye

I recommend praying the rosary regularly. Doing so is an excellent way to learn spiritual truths.
