i have an old "cruzer 2gb" USB and it says that its supposedly "full"?

But i deleted half of my files and it still says this.

now it finally says space is free in the bar at the bottom but when i tried to upload a file it pops up and says 'space is full' still

people said to reformat it but when i right click it just says junk like "eject/duplicate/enable folder actions" it doesn't say format

i cant find its "trash can" so i dont know about that

what can i do so that i can put files on it again? where would the reformat option be?

also i have an apple

Update:

also, when i went into the system folder there were alot of random numbered files i did not put on.

some had wierd skype icons in them but the others i had no idea of what they were. should i just delete them all or will i kill its system or something?

Update 2:

i cannot find anything that says "my computer"

i just have the "macintosh HD" file

For the "full usb stick" You're probably trying to put a file in that takes up more space than what's free, so you'd have to look at how big the file is.

For the random numbered files, that sounds like pictures, but it could be something else.

And apples don't have the "my computer" thing. That's just windows. "Macintosh HD" should be like "My computer"

With your Cruzer plugged into your machine, double click My Computer, Find your Cruzer and right click your mouse on the drive letter and select Format.

i dont know much about the unix set up so dont know how much different it is from linux (debian) or windows but id suggest trying to format through a termin or console whatever unix wants to call the command prompt.

i should be something like format (drive location)

in example my flash drive in lunix to format it is

    format sda hd0.
