How much can my 2006 Ford Explorer Tow?

I have a 2006 Ford Explorer V6 4.0 SOHC 4x4 Eddie Bauer Edition the 3.55 axle ratio. How much weight of a camper trailer can I tow???

    The Ridgeline isn't well liked by the truck community because it isn't really a truck. It was massively over-rated by the media too. If you want a decent Japanese made truck, you should have gotten a Tundra (The big 3 still make much better trucks though). I would be worried about burning the transmission out, but that would depend on the distance you're driving. And, like other people said, it's about how well it can control a load like that, the Explorer won't do much better. You really should consider getting a trailer with brakes if you want to pull either.

    I would recommend not towing anything more than your "Exploder" weighs.
