Future Plans and Jobs!!!?
Ok this is the yr. I need to be figuring out what I want to do with my life and I'm SOOOO lost. I know that's natural but here's the thing. I'm 100% going to college and definately wanting to be married and have kids in my life. I LOVE theatre but I know that it wouldn't make for a good living foundation:/. I'm a super hard worker and a good ppl. and kid person. I would also like to somehow feel like I was helping people or working for my Lord and Savior. I'm super creative and I never give up. I have a good tolerance for everything but math and death or surgical type jobs. Any ideas of possible majors or jobs I should consider???I'm willing to do technical schools 2yr. programs 4 year Universities or 5 yrs for a masters if need be. Please and thank you! <3

Here's one idea: Get a double major in education and theater arts, and a masters degree in theater arts, looking toward teaching it at the university level, where you would also, of course, head up the drama department and produce/direct the college plays and musicals. You can participate in community productions and college productions to get as much experience under your belt at every aspect of theater that you can, in order to be credible. Sign up with every "extras" agency in town so that you can get some film and commercial credits for voiceovers, being part of crowd, whatever. If you go to college where movies are often filmed, your chances of being an extra or --bless my soul-- landing a speaking part are far greater. If at some point, you luck into a gig that blows you to the top of the chart, you can put your professorial ambitions on hold until after you're no longer the "it" girl. So, bottom rung of the dream: working as a high school drama teacher; middle rung: working as a university drama professor top rung: fame, fortune, and a stalker or two to remind you you're human.
