Adderall and Ritalin are both forms of Meth. They are potentially life threatening if they are misused. No one has ever over dosed on marijuana. Marijuana is the safer choice.

Adderall better than marijuana? I would have to say they are nothing a like, so I don't know how you would compare them.
Adderall is completely safe when it is taken as it is prescribed for legitimate medical purposes and for those with no negative medical history that would make the drug unsafe for them.. It is not meth. Adderall is "amphetamine" not "methamphetamine." They have completely different chemical make up. I have worked in a law office and seen many meth addicts. They act like chickens clucking around the office and chewing their gums off because they have no teeth. They are very unpleasant to be around to say the least. I have ADHD. I take Adderall, I am very calm and relaxed on Adderall. I know people who are not ADHD who take it and can get pretty hyped up, but I definitely don't think they appear to act similar to meth addicts. However, I suppose at really high and dangerous doses they could be.
All and all, Adderall is a great drug for those who medically need it. And I think marijuana is a great drug for those who medically need it. In California, where Marijuana is legally prescribed to treat medical conditions, one of it's main purposes is to treat nausea in chemo patients to INCREASE APPETITE, (and it treats glaucoma among other ailments).
Adderall on the other hand, is prescribed for ADD/ADHD, and narcolepsy, (and some off-label use as a diet pill for obesity) but Adderall's main side effect is that it DECREASES APPETITE.
So you can see that trying to comparing the two drugs, even for legitimate medical purposes, is basically like comparing apples and oranges.
You are also going to notice that Adderall has very different affects on ADHD people than it has in Non-ADHD people.
Have you noticed the people who take it at your school who legitimately have been prescribed Adderal who have ADHD, are more calm, and less obnoxious, and generally more focused into personal conversations while on it? If you have, you would have observed the desired effect of the drug in someone with ADHD.
If someone non-ADHD takes the drugs, have you ever watched them act crazier than normal, have wider pupils, have shakiness, talk super fast, and can study all night, or are in general, more jittery and anxious than usual. These effects are not the desired effects. This is just performance enhancement for those who want to act like they are on speed and do a million things at once.

well its not like marijuana at all. Adderall which is really amphetamine or dextro-amphetamine in the extended release version is a psyco-stimulant and is legally per-scribed to kids to help with add to help them focus in class. Illegally adderall is used like speed (cause that what it is lol) to help kids study for test, do well in school, be really hyper, or do anything that requires alot of focus/ energy.
And in terms on how "bad it is" it depends if you do decide to take adderall just dont be an idiot dont combine it with alcohol,MAOI's,other stimulants, depressants or some OTC drugs. Also, assuming its your first time don't take more than 30mg of adderall xr (max daily amount id 40mg, 90+ is a hospital trip) the instant release adderall im not 100% about dosage as im not prescribed it but ive heard the max dosages are higher but dont be crazy and do like 100mg your first time as adderall really increses heart rate and blood pressure. Because amphetamine(the ingredient in adderall) is like a not as strong version of methamphetamine or meth and im sure you have heard of that.
So hope that awnsered your question if you still need more info or want to take adderall please goto my source link for some more good info
hope i helped :D

adderall is a very, very serious drug! it's nothing like marijuana, but i'd say much worse! it is similar to ritalin, wich is a methanphetamine! (no, they are not the same thing, but similar). Don't do it, and tell the people at your school not to! you can't overdose on marijiuana, but an overdose of adderall is sure to kill you, or atleast land you in the hospital for cardiac arrest!

Adderall⢠is a collection of amphetamine salts. The overall ratio is 3:1 in favor of the dextro- (right-handed) molecule (which is the more active of the two).
Amphetamine differs from "meth" in that the latter has an extra methyl group on the terminal nitrogen atom. This enhances the overall lipophilicity of the molecule, making methamphetamine roughly twice as potent on a per-milligram basis as dextroamphetamine.
Ritalin⢠and Concerta⢠are trade names of a molecule called methylphenidate. It has a bunch of superfluous junk tacked onto the basic amphetamine (technically phenethylamine) core, rendering it roughly half as potent as dextroamphetamine on a per-milligram basis.
Vyvanse⢠is dextroamphetamine attached to a dopey amino acid (lysine). It's relative potency is slightly weaker than methylphenidate, and is ultimately just an expensive gimmick.

Adderall is prescribed for ADD and ADHD. A few years ago, FDA placed warnings on the medication because of abuse and heart attack and stroke deaths. Only take it if prescribed by a doctor. Otherwise you can easily OD and/or mess up the chemicals in your brain permanently.
