I have an old earthenware pot which I cannot identify - please help .... Photo available?
This is a pot with an extra piece on the side which is the only entry ar exit point for the contents. The lid does not come off. It will hold liquid by way of a vacuum in the main chamber.
Written on the pot is "2Pt" which I presume is the capacity, and also written on it is "Price 15 Bristol"

It is a piece of Price and Powell Stoneware made in Bristol England. It appears to be a salt crock.
