Netflix vs. Blockbuster?

I have had Netflix for a long time, and recently switched over to Blockbuster. I think that they both have a good selection of movies, but what did it for me was having to wait 28 days for new releases with Netflix. There was more than one occasion that I had to pay to rent something on demand that I wanted to see, just because Netflix didn't have it. I would definitely recommend Blocbuster over Netflix. The movies get here just as quick, and I don't have to pay anything extra for Blu-Rays, and if we get tired of watching movies we can switch it up and rent video games for free. I also like that since we just watched all of our movies and its the weekend, we can run down to Blockbuster and exchange them for new ones without having to wait for the mail. Also since Netflix changed their prices, they both cost the same now.

If you would actually use the return to store feature that Blockbuster offers then Blockbuster might be better for you since you aren't wanting to stream movies. That is the only reason I would suggest them, I think they have the same amount of movies available it might depend on what you are looking for though, neither of them has more than the other. You can just try both of the free trials and see which one you like more. I prefer Netflix myself because we stream movies, if you can stream movies it is a great buy.

I think Netflix's website is much better than Blockbuster's. I'm not totally sure how costs compare, but Netflix is much easier to use and has worked out all its kinks, while Blockbuster is much less functional.

Netflix is dominant. They have every movie and they only take a day to come to your house.

block buster is on a down hill slope to destruction. They wont be around in the next 5 years.
