how to shut off wireless on a belkin router?

This information is from Belkin support:

Open a web browser on the computer directly connected to the router.

in the address bar, enter 192.168.2.1

In the upper right hand corner of the page that comes up, click on Login

=If you set a password for your router, then enter it in the appropriate area=

Click on Submit

In the Wireless section either disable wireless functionality or turn Wireless Mode off.

Then click on Apply Changes.

In browser interface-

Wireless > Channel and SSID

Wireless Mode > select OFF to turn off the wireless.

This switch allows you to set the Router’s wireless modes. There are several modes.

Note: Some modes may require firmware updates to be enabled.

1) Off

This mode will turn OFF the Router’s access point, so no wireless devices can join the network. Turning off the wireless function of your Router is a great way to secure your network when you are away from home for a long period of time, or don’t want to use the wireless feature of the Router at a certain time.

I would either disable DHCP, or the easiest way is just to unplug your router.
