Varlamov or Nik Backstrom??? Who would you rather have as your goalie?
Easy enough.... Nik Backstrom (G- Minn Wild) is on the Free Agent list up for grabs.. I have Varly and Im thinking about dropping him for Backstrom.
Your thoughts: yey or ney?

Varlamov is way better then backstrom
backstrom is a hybrid goalie and not a very good one
varlamov is a butterfly goalie and very fast and has great hands

I love Varly, and he's on my favourite team.
Idk if Minnesota's gonna make the playoffs or not, but I think Varly will carry his team further in the playoffs.
So.... Niklas Backstrom if you only care about regular season, but if playoffs count too, Varlamov.

backstrom very easy going goaltender and he'll pay off in the future

backstrom for sure, he has a proven record and varlamov is too young and still shaky at times...
