Why do liberals get mad whenever someone states the fact that Al Gore lied about inventing the internet?

Ever since the global warming theory came into the news more and more funds have been pumped in to studying this theory. This money has already corrupted some scientists as the climate-gate emails prove. It is also corrupting some of our politicians who now want to stifle freedom and industry with draconian measures to reduce CO2 emissions.

We all need to stand against the global Climate Alarmist Complex by opposing any spending on more climate research and by opposing spending money or making laws to reduce CO2 emissions. Together we can stop the Climate Alarmist Complex from ending our prosperity, liberty and freedom

As the child of a computer scientist who grew up with devices that accessed the predecessors of what became the internet, Gore's claims made him look nothing but foolish. And, frankly, I was annoyed with the man.

The global warming stuff, however, has some validity to it. I just wish someone with better character than Gore were presenting the facts.

Wait ... who gets angry about the craziness of 'Al Gore inventing the internet'? I've never head anyone get angry about that. On the other hand, denying global warming is kind of ... loony. It's not entirely clear that global warming has quite the crisis implications some people claim it does ... but denying that it's going on is a sign of intellectual dishonesty. (Regardless of what you believe about the causes.)

But no one gets angry about denying that Al Gore invented the internet. That would be a bit loony too.

I never heard him say that; I've only heard it on here. I can't really believe he'd even say it. I thought you were going to say that he lied about being so caring about the environment when his money came from oil and he still flies a private jet, big cares, big houses. It certainly can't be that he's invested heavily in "alternate forms of energy" and want sot make huge sums of money from that, can it? Nahhhh....

Global warming is a lie.
