Knowing the Church's History and the Changes That Have Been Occasioned by Advances in Human Understanding The Question of Gay Marriage May Be Open to Further Development . What If Homosexuals Are So From Birth? Is Bearing the Cross of Such a Difference the Only Alternative?

Why Would God Design Some People to Be Innately Attracted to the Same Sex? If God Did not Design Homosexuals This Way Where Does the Character Come From? Marriage Itself has Changed a Great Deal in The Church's History. Change is the Only Real Tradition. From the Multiplicity of Wives in the Hebrew Scriptures; to the Ownership of Wives in the Feudal Practice; to the Suffragette Liberation of Women in the Present Day There Has Been a Great Deal of Divergence in What Many Think the Biblical Idea of Marriage Is. More Change Should Not Surprise Us. While Same Sex Partners Cannot Conceive a Child Many Make Great Parents through Adoption. Some Who Find Surrogate Parenthood Rewarding Have Been Doing a Remarkable Job Witnessing to the Love and Truth of Their Relationships, Jesus Overturned the Preconceptions of His Day and Culture on Marriage and Family. Maybe The Lord is Doing the Same With Ours.

Is God Glorified in Gay Marriage? We Need to Take a Look.

Sure, just as Jews can support other people's right to eat bacon. It's not like the Catholic church is the only place where two people can get legally married.

nicely, in case you believe in God the respond is user-friendly. God knows each and everything and would examine the concepts of all the planet's 6 billion plus inhabitants on the comparable time. My brother (ex-Catholic now Fundie) says that God even knows what number hairs are on all people's (all 6+ billion no longer purely the Christians) head. yet once you think of roughly it that's barely greater info that the whole thought of a God is purely bodily and logically impossible.

    Absolutely not.

Marriages are meant for a man and a woman. The bible states that a man is for a woman. It does address the issue of homosexuality so if we call ourselves "Christians" we should be following what it says in the bible.

~LEVITICUS 18;22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

    * It says a man shall not sleep with a man as he would a woman...it is an abomination. So as Christians we cannot support this behavior nor the marriage. We would be going against God's wishes. And I certainly don't want to be on his wrong side of issues.

    God bless you!

    Not really.

There are Catholics in full communion with the Pope and the Catholic Church and there are "cafeteria Catholics" who pick and choose what they want to believe and practice. A couple of examples are "Catholics" who are pro-abortion and "Catholics" who refuse to accept the teachings of Vatican II.

The term "Cafeteria Christians" refers to people who view Christianity like a cafeteria where one picks and chooses only those beliefs that appeal to them and reject a genuine interpretation of Christian doctrine and the teachings of Jesus.

The term "Cafeteria Catholics" is similar. It is used to describe people who dissent from certain teachings of the Catholic Church while maintaining an outward identity as Catholics.

In Los Angeles in 1987, Pope John Paul II said: "It is sometimes claimed that dissent from the magisterium is totally compatible with being a "good Catholic," and poses no obstacle to the reception of the Sacraments. This is a grave error that challenges the teaching of the Bishops in the United States and elsewhere."

Heresy is the obstinate denial after Baptism of a truth which must be believed with divine and Catholic faith.

"Cafeteria Catholics" in denial of certain truths are in danger of committing heresy.

    With love in Christ.

  • Michael Moor does. He is a pretty much Catholic more than Mel Gibson.

You are giving in to humanistic peer pressure that is tantamount to COERCION to accept homosexuality. I wonder, have you ever read God's word on homosexuality. It is an unnatural act. It is sodomy! It is an abomination in God's sight!

There is quite literally no angle that you can take that makes homosexuality seem ... okay. I don't know how old you are or if you've ever made love to a woman, but the Godly design of the system of reproduction is awe-inspiring! God is a master craftsman! If you can't see God's hand in reproduction and the miracle of birth then ... you're blind!

Then ... you should cringe with disgust at the thought of homosexual sex. It is forced. It is ... painful. It is unnatural. It is ROUGH on the human body! Did you know that homosexuals who don't die of AIDS still die at a much younger age than heterosexuals? Did you know that homosexuals are by and large much less stable and happy than heterosexuals? Etc.

There is also this. Emmanuel Kant essentially gave each of us a most basic test as to whether what we are doing at any given time is okay or not. Kant called it his Categorical Imperative.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Categorical_imperativ...

It's more complicated than this summary, but it can be easily understand as asking one simple question: "What if everyone did what I'm doing?"

    Examples:

    1. You love everyone, pray for them, try to help them out as much as you can, etc. (This is Godly.) What if everyone did that? Well ... the world would be a better place! Right?

    2. You lie or steal or cheat. (Not Godly.) What if everyone did these things? Well ... wouldn't their be societal chaos and anarchy as everyone was lying, cheating, stealing, etc.? WHO could you trust? NO ONE! Businesses would stop lending, stores would be robbed and shoplifted. Etc., etc.

And yes, homosexuality is another that cannot pass Kant's Categorical Imperative. If everyone were so-called ... "gay" then ... civilization would cease to be very quickly. God tells us to be fruitful and multiply. There is no fruitfulness in homosexuality, just fruitiness. It goes against God's word and will. It is revealed to be evil through Kant's test.

LASTLY ... do you know that homosexuality has been promoted by Communists who are trying to breakdown the moral fiber of America as their early steps to take over this country? If I just said it's true, I bet you wouldn't believe me, would you? Well, I have proof! In 1958, Cleon Skousen's book, The Naked Communist, was published. In it, Skousen listed 45 goals of Communism to take over America. One was to take over at least one of our political parties. They got the Democratic Party! It is now ... fully ... Communist. They also endeavored to take over unions, the media, Hollywood, academia, psychiatry, the arts, etc. They endeavored to promote pornography, homosexuality, and any other aberrant, deviant, or sick way of life as ... normal, NOT because Communists love homosexuals, but because they ... hate ... God. Communists are atheists. Communists don't allow freedom of religion. Communists know it is easier to control Godless people with no core values. Read this list and tell me that you're still wanting to accept homosexuality and gay marriage? If so, the Communists love you and thank you!
