Address registration question?
I just found a new place, signed the lease and went to the townhall to change my address. But before I planned to move in, the landlord told me that the house needs gas and internet, I also need to buy my own beddings and stuff which I don't have at the moment. Would it be ok if I move to my friend's place for a couple of weeks while she is away on vacation? I am an international student so I don't want to get myself into any kind of trouble.
Thanks.

You signed the lease, you registered with the town hall, so you are officially living in that address, so no problem for the legal side of things and if you want to stay at a friends house in the meantime then it's not a big deal
It's only if you try things like sub-renting your place to another person, or you sub-renting your friend's place that it can get sticky.
It would be best of course to make sure that on all documentation e.g. with the university etc that you use your official address and check your mail there so there are no discrepancies.
For example when we moved to our new house, we had a month where were were living at the old place and renovating the new one. It's not a problem as long as you handle the official registration correctly which you have already done.

Bla bla is right. Personally I would let the landlord know, good way to prevent misunderstandings.
