I will be working for a few months at the airport and am applying for a PhD at the moment. Could I include this position in my CV? Training at the airport starts at the end of July so I do not have any experience YET. I will of course leave the position if my PhD application is admitted. But I am still hesitating whether I should include it.

My friend is going to send me a parcel and she wants to mail me some cannabis candy. I have never tried it before and it was sold at the local souvenir store. I know this kind of candy won't get you high or something, but is it legal to mail it? We are just not sure if the candy contains thc .

I am a non-EU citizen and I left the Netherlands after staying there for two years. When I presented my passport at the immigration, he simply asked to see my residence permit and then stamped my passport. I didn't catch him scanning my passport, probably I didn't notice it. But I am wondering if the immigration has a record of my entry and exit? I did remove my name from the city hall, but how do they know if you actually leave the country?

I have reported this to the authority but haven't got any reply yet. Can people do anything illegal with a scanned copy (black and white)? It only has my picture, birth of date and expiry date etc.

I just sent a scanned copy of my passport (black and white) to an untrusted company and am now worrying that they may steal my identity for frauds. I did not send any credit card or account info, but i am freaked out that something will go wrong one day. It is certain that they aim for money and I immediately stopped responding once I became suspicious. Is there anything I can do to protect my identity? I am really freaked out.

I just found a new place, signed the lease and went to the townhall to change my address. But before I planned to move in, the landlord told me that the house needs gas and internet, I also need to buy my own beddings and stuff which I don't have at the moment. Would it be ok if I move to my friend's place for a couple of weeks while she is away on vacation? I am an international student so I don't want to get myself into any kind of trouble.

My contract ends in January and I'm looking for a place to stay for a few more couple of months. But most room offers do not allow registration as they are sublet without the landlord's permission. I need to change my address at town hall to make my furture stay legal, but it is so difficult when you are only here for a short while. Is there any good way to deal with such a situation? Thanks.

A couple of weeks ago, my shower drain was clogged and there was water leaking from the floor outside the bathroom. i called the plumber to fix it. The water wasn't leaking when he came over and he didn't think it a serious problem since the floor dried out. After that, the leaking problem didn't go away, it does not flood all over the place but still a nuisance to clean up the floor every time I get out of the shower. I called the caretaker and he said he would have to check the pipes after the contract is over ( I live in a student apartment). I will be moving out in January, is there anything I could do to prevent it from getting worse? They are not going to charge me but I don't wanna anything more serious coming up in the last two months.

I wanna buy some fan stuff like hat or t-shirt as well. Would be better if you know any sports shop near the train station or city center.

I wanna be there and see German win but I have to catch the train like 30 minutes after the game. Is there any place near the station where I can watch the football? Don't care if I have to sit for dinner or whatever, as long as I can watch the game!!!

I saw postcards but havent seen calendars. My schedules crazy and I really need one right now.

I have a radiator in my student apartment with a thermostat on the wall. The instruction said I only need to set the thermostat to auto but it didnt heat the radiator. I saw a knob at the right end of the radiator and turn it a few times to the right(counterclockwise) and felt hot water runnning in. Now I wonder how do i switch it off? Did i just bleed the radiator? Seems that its still hot even when i set the thermostat off.

I moved in a student apartment and dont have any oven for baking. Is there any simple recipe for cooking chicken breast? Thanks!
