In many cases it is faster and easier to pull the engine,rather than crawling around under the truck

it really depends what u need it off 4 if u need to change the gasket or the oil pick up then no just undo it all the way round and u should b able to wriggle it round enough to b able to do any of those 2 jobs fiddly but manageable anything else like to get at the crank etc then sorry yes u will
