My oil pump went out on my cherokee sport, no oil pressure. No oil flowing in the valve cover. My buddy/mechanic is saying that the engine has to be pulled to get the oil pan removed. Is that true? I know you have to drop the pan to get to the oil pump, but do you really have to pull the engine to do it?

My wife almost died this year due to complications with her open heart surgery. I am so thankful and grateful that I have my wife back and that she is recovering.

I have a '99 Jeep Cherokee Sport with the 4.0l V6. I suspect the alternator may be going bad as the lights sometimes dim when the idle speed drops. I just replaced an old battery in it. Anyone have any trouble shooting steps to check the alternator?

My wife of 25 years had open heart surgery last thursday. since she came out of the OR she has been in some sort of disconnected mental state. she cannot control her body. she seems as if she is trapped inside. i am terrified that she is going to stay that way. the doctors don't know what is wrong with her.

My question is what is this condition called where you are or maybe are aware but not in control of your movements?

my wife had a triple bypass and mitral valve replacement last thursday. her heart is fine, but she is not recovering well from the anesthetic/sedation. She is "out of it", unresponsive and not in control of her own body. she opens her eyes but doesn't have control over them. the doctors admitted that they don't know whats wrong with her. she has been evaluated by a neurologist who said that she is fine and should come out of it soon. That was two days ago. any advice would be greatly appreciated
