How will free trade affect Runescape economy?

I started about 2006-07 too and remember the days of free trade. Basically the problem they tried to remove was scamming and 2mil for lobster. What they ended up with was a terrible economy that was failing. Prices for almost everything were dropping rapidly and the simple things like buckets, spades and capes were raising in price and also becoming more rare. After the state of economy speech given by members on a forum I used to be a part of I quit. Haven't played since 2008 and only go on every once and a while. My suggestion to prepare for this drastic economy change would be getter a better mouse. The scamming is going to be coming back. If you not quick with your eyes and smart about your bets you are gonna loose. This isn't such a downturn to be honest. It brings back merchanting the one thing I actually played the game for.
