How and where do you get help for business troubles?
I have a friend who owns a retail and manufacturing business, but he always worries about his money problem and got very stressed with the outgoings that he has to pay that the business doesn't make enough to cover on an ongoing basis. I really want to help, however I am not an expert. I think he needs to talk to someone who can help help him. I suggested business consultant but he said it will put him in more stress as they cost a lot and can't be afforded as is. Do you know who can help without putting more money stress on him?

If he is that stressed he will be unable to devote all his attention to his business. Any CPA will advise him of what he has to do and between the relief that he will feel and the help that the CPA will give him, it will be money well spent.

Go to website for the State you live in and check under Small Business. You can get all the information on business.

Ask your friend to join relevant business forums. There are expert and business people who can help to cope up with such business situations. Forums doesn't charge. Just make search, you will get some.
Btw I do participate in several forums for solutions and information.
