flat screen question?
my Visio television has aprx 1/3 of the screen that went blank. the picture is normal on the rest. Its a plasma set if that matters. I tried several things, reset the power to cable box and the set. I don't have much luck doing a system check from the menu thus far the only thing it has is a screen clean mode.(no help)
I know how to do that (yellow pages) just looking for commonality to it. what to expect from the guy.

many times with tvs there are 3 to 6 different sets of panels that regulate whats goin on now if one of those has quite working hence your 1/3 screen being blank. now im not 100% sure with plasmas do the same as lcd but i know that lcds will do that. so i guess your best option is to buy a new one sadly... i believe you would not be able to fix it at a respectable cost. For the record if your going to go plasma again you two best options are panasonic and samsung all others can get a little sketchy.
