I tried to restart my print spooler, but it keeps telling me it cannot find the file?

My print spooler is on Automatic, but it still does not work, stating file cannot be found? What can I do?

Thanks, Richard. I did that, it took about 40 minutes, but nothing happened and the printer still does not work :( any other ideas? thank you

    Run a system file check to restore it

    Start

    Run and enter sfc /scannow Leave space between the c and /

    EDIT: Try this Microsoft printer fix it, just click fixit

    Does it say what file it cannot find?

    It may be part of the printer driver software. So uninstall the printer, just delete the icon. Then install it again with New Printer.
