In most places you have to be above 16 to have sex, even if your parents don't care it is still illegal at your age, and I think you are still to young, and don't really understand the importance, or the risks that come with sex. I agree. in lots of countries like England the age of consent is sixteen yet right here in united states of america of america is eighteen. i do no longer understand what's the kind between a sixteen or 18-365 days old. Guys think that to have love you have to have sex to. They will tell you anything to get in a girls pants for example the main thing they say you have posted (if you love me lets do it). A good girlfriend will try to understand that and help where she can. What you unwittingly did was get his hopes up about sex and then brought those hopes crashing down on his head.
