Can you tell me anything about Unico high volume heating & a/c systems for residential use?

We are considering purchasing a condo that uses the Unico heating & a/c system rather than a conventional heater, a/c & ducting system. I have no experience with such a sysstem and have some questions & concerns. The only thing I can find online are basically advertisements which are obviously biased, not actual user reviews.

1. Are these systems more cost-efficient than standard systems? Do they cost more, or less, to run?

2. Are they comfortable? I mean, the heating vents are on the ceiling and presumably blow enough air to circulate the heat. So do they actually create a breeze? Ceiling vents for hot air don't make sense to me, but maybe they are good?

I guess I'm just wondering what people think of them who actually have them. Any help would be appreciated!

I have never heard of them. I did check the MFG website out. It appears from what I read and see. That this is nothing more than a split system heat pump. They just have something, that they can be installed anywhere. Rather intresting, I must say. But looks looks to me based on the diagram, and parts manual. It nothing more that a heat pump split system. You just would have to have a lot of those vacuum cleaner vent in the house to achieve the CFM need to get the amount of heat and cooling in the space. And guessing I got tired of reading, but it uses electric heat to fill in the void when the heat pump can keep up. As far as cost and how well it works, Id be curious just to see on in place and operational. It also, and I cant tell sure but it looks like it has dual refrigerant circuits with dual air handlers, If you have 2 floors. 1 outside unit feed the refrigeration circuit.
