Is it possible to lose 40 pounds in 5 months?

So currently I'm 150 pounds.

I want to lose 40 pounds in five months, because I would like to have a good body in the summer. That would mean losing at least 8 pounds a month. Is it possible for me to lose that much?

What are good ways to exercise and help you lose weight? Other then running.

Thank you :)

Yes, it's possible, and healthy too. That's 2 lbs a week which is an acceptable weight loss. You're going to have to really watch what you eat, and do some excercise.

Hubby and I both lost 40 lbs in 5 months. Besides watching what we ate, we started going for a brisk walk everyday. 4 miles in 50-55 minutes. 3 or 4 times a week we do a Jillian Michael's DVD workout.

I've attempted many diets and could not make something paintings. Since having my first baby, I've been wearing round yet another 30 kilos. This vitamin simply made experience and confirmed me that the whole thing I used to be doing earlier than used to be fallacious and a waste of my time. The plan used to be so fresh and so useful to comply with. I did the whole thing plan mentioned and misplaced 23 kilos within the first 3 weeks. I'm now establishing the vitamin once more to lose 7 extra kilos. This plan has modified my existence. Get began at present!

it is possible to loose 1 pound per week just watching your diet moderately and hitting the gym and up to 2 pounds if you are very disciplined with your workouts and dieting. having a mixture of cardio and weight lifting is what you will def have to do in order to shed those pounds.

for exercises, i would highly recommend that you get a personal trainer. that way you can have one on one contact with a specialists. if u cant afford the costs or just plain h8 the gym, then here are some useful sites to get you started.

Yes, but instead of focusing on fat loss, workout to supplement it with muscle gain. My bro dropped a ton of weight fast, but it actually looks better to gain muscle and loose less fat then to be toothpick thin and loose all your muscle too.

it is very possible because I have done it, and I would NOT recommend it. I became very sick and also became infertile
