cardinality of infinite sets (i couldnt really think what to call it...)?

ok so i understand that as there exists a mapping from ℕ to ℚ they have the same cardinality but so far every example i have seen doesn't preserve the order of the rationals ( i believe that this would be impossible) is there a word for when there is a one to one function that does preserve order

the function f:ℕ->ℕ ; f(x)=2x which lists the even positives, so that f(1)<f(2)<f(3)<.... is an example of what i mean

sorry for the poor explanation hopefully you understood what i was getting at
