Brand new Toshiba L675 S7048 laptop screen flickering.?

The display on my L675 S7048 is flickering badly. My whites turn pink, and my blues turn green. I see it when windows starts, even the Microsoft logo has tiny green dots all around it. Sometimes it seems fine, sometimes it goes crazy. When I connect an external monitor via RGB, there are no problems with the second monitor, while my laptop screen still flickers.

Apart from drivers, that unit could be defective. We sell the L675-06J and -06X where I work, and so far we've had 3 people come back with them. One was having issues with the keyboard, one with the wifi, and one with the screen flickering. I suggest taking back to where you bought it and letting them take a look, or searching online for your problem.

  • Sounds like a driver issue, go on Toshiba's website to update the driver. If that does not work, run a diagnostic software and see if it finds hardware issues. If so, print out results and bring that along with the laptop to a local and independent PC repair shop.

Update the driver and adapter files and also the BIOS if that does not cure it then return to Toshiba for repair.
