what are the latest figures of the Female Genital Mutilation in Africa?

does anyone know where i can find a reliable source for the percentage of FGM in Africa and which country it is most common.

Update:

it is just research for college.. thats all. it is something that exists in the world and should be abolished and im looking for stats to prove my point

    I watched a few videos on Youtube ( very disturbing and will not be watching again! )

    Figures are too high... FGM is abuse and cruel, and calling it tradtion is not going to make me feel any differently about it. It's just another "idea" that a man has come up with to make sure women don't have a wondering eye.

    Shouldn't you be more worried about the fact that white women in America make less than white men to do the same work, get promoted less, and consistute less than one quarter of the executives in corporate America despite making up over half the US population?

    Sexism exists everywhere, including between whites
