Best, new modern las Vegas hotel on the strip?

The place you want to stay is the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. This is the latest addition to the Vegas skyline and the hotel is a month old.

Trump is well off the strip but easy to walk though when heading back after a night out will make the walk seem even longer. Wynn is on the strip but it is actually at the north end of the bulk of the strip so again it will be a good walking distance though not as bad as Trump.

I would suggest the Cosmopolitan. It is a bit expensive but that doesn't seem to matter too much in your case. They are the newest and looks pretty darn good. Other thing is they don't add that horrible resort fee that many of the other properties charge.

It really depends what kind of room you'd like as well. I would recommend the Vdara. All the rooms are suites, it's new, the location is very central on the strip, and if you want to hit up a casino, you're right beside Aria and the Cosmopolitan. You won't be disappointed.

Aria and Vdara are on the Strip, since the Vegas city centre is on the Strip. The Encore is great if you like modern, but Aria and anything in the City Centre are definitely the most modern places on the Strip without a shadow of a doubt.

Forget Trump Tower, not easy walking to any casino.

Wynn/Encore are fantastic as are Venetian Palazzo. The newest is Cosmopolitan and next door Aria.

Cosmopolitan is literally the newest (just opened last month) hotel on the strip.

It is MUCH sleeker and more modern than Trump or Wynn.
