What would settle my Chihuahua's upset stomach?
Our sweet girl jumped up on the table last night before I had completely cleared the table off and ate leftover food out of our bowls. She is so quick! It was a macaroni meat sauce that consists of pasta, ground beef, tomato soup and Velveeta. Now she has terrible diarrhea. I was thinking of making a mixture of plain white rice and a little bit of scrambled egg to get some nourishment in her; I thought it would be bland enough not to upset her tummy anymore than it already is. Would this help or should I completely remove food for the whole day?
Great idea kittykat, but the only greek yogurt I have is strawberry or blueberry flavored. I'll have to run out and get some plain.

you could also make chicken and rice (boil chicken till no longer pink, drain and let cool then pull apart and add to cooked rice) you can do ground beef but you have to make sure it is lean meat and drained well of oil before mixing with rice. this is good for vomiting and diarrhea. best of luck to ya and hope your pup feels better soon.

Usually the best option is to withhold for 24 hours to give the tum a chance to settle down - no point piling more food on an already irritated tummy. However, I'd say scrambled egg, or even a small amount of boiled chicken breast, with some natural yogurt, wouldn't do her any harm, especially as I understand these tiny dogs need their blood sugars kept up?

DONT WASTE TIME ON YOGURT. Honestly if you want the diarrhea gone pick up a can of 100% pure canned pumpkin, by dinner time or first thing in the morning the diarrhea will be gone. It's the only natural remedy that will bind the dog up and stop the diarrhea it's a miracle worker and you will want to keep cans on hand.
If you must feed and if she will eat, then I suggest boiled boneless skinless chicken breast ( you can pick up the kind in a bag) with pumpkin mixed in for dinner and she will be fine.
My vet recommends Pepcid AC 10mg but that is for my 62lb Weimaraner, not sure if it's safe for a Chi. So use the pumpkin and boiled chicken and in a day or so she will be fine.
I suggest teaching her not to get on the table or the leave it command if she's a counter surfer, she might end up eating something that is toxic.

Give her a little Pepto Bismol, if she is really tiny, less than a teaspoon. Pepto Bismol works well for dogs, vets recommend it, so its safe. The big problem is dehydration. Try to get a little water down her throat, if you have a dropper, give her a little at a time to keep her hydrated. If she looks really bad and this isn't helping, get her to an emergency vet right away. You can lose her really fast, so keep a close eye and don't wait for your regular appointment, because she is a tiny dog, when things go bad, they go bad really fast.

Bland food, the egg will bind the food, when my dogs have done this I have usually starved them for a day then introduced them with bland food - white rice, white fish - another great one is natural greek yoghurt - it works with the friendly bacteria in gut :)
