My salary review is in 5 months but I get my A.A.S degree in 1 1/2 months. Should I ask for a raise then?
I just started at a company as a computer technician. The HR lady said that my position required an associates degree and they hired me since I was going to get mine soon. She said that the pay was 30k to 36k but since I didn't have my degree yet they were starting me at 25k. My salary review is in June basically but i get my degree in March. Should I ask for a raise as soon as I get my degree?

First off, congrats on getting the job without having the degree yet.
To answer your question - in your case, yes, ask for a raise. You sould wait until June - I'm sure they assumed you would have your degree in March (which is a common month for graduation).
Could you ask for a raise earlier? Yes, you probably are justified to do so, but you better be d*mn sure you don't have any competition! This job market's a b*tch!

I agree with Michael. Ask for the raise and its ok to ask for it now. That way if your boss says let's talk about it when your review comes up he will remember and take it in consideration. If he forgets during interview time remind him again at that point. When you do ask don't be forceful and let your boss get back with you. I'm sure it will work out for you. And congrats!

Wait for your review. What they are looking for is 'improvement' due to knowledge and experience.
