Where in a fuse panel can i find a good power source, and how??? ?
I'm trying to install two extra headrest monitors.I really don't want to run it all the way to the head unit for power.

I would use a wire tap from behind the AUX power plugs (cigarette lighter plugs). If your really going as far as the fuse box, use that spot. They often have the heaviest wire and are under the least amount of load. On my personal cars that I have modified, I often have a separate fuse box in the trunk (or near the amps) with a dedicated wire running from the battery to the trunk (also fused or set up with a 12 volt circuit breaker with in 18" of the battery)

Use a "fuse tap". Put a "smaller" inline fuse in the wire going to each monitor. For example, if the circuit you tap at the fusebox has a 20A fuse, use a smaller 5A or 7.5A fuse to protect the monitor.

You need a multimeter or test light. With the multimeter and turning the ignition ON/OFF, identify a switched circuit. Remove the fuse and replace it alone with the "tap". Crimp your inline fuse to the tap connector and the other end to your monitor wire.
