Is this phrase grammatically correct in French?
J'habite dans un maison au centre de la ville...translators are not always right so I wanted to check. Also, in this line-Puis, je commence ce mes devoirs- is the 'ce' after 'commence' correct and if it is,what does it mean ?

No - the 'ce' is not correct... 'Puis je commence mes deviors' means 'then, I'' start my (home)work'. It doesn't make sense with the 'ce' inserted.
