To the men out there...?

If you were interested in a lady ~ known her and been friends for years and are beginning a romantic relationship ~ and you knew she was interested in you, how would you feel if she suggested a new look?

He's a great guy, been a good friend for more than 15 years, tall and attractive, but has been sporting the same hairdo and pork chop sideburns for as long as I've known him.

If a lady were to approach you about this, would you be offended?

What would be the best way to broach the subject? He's a nice man and I don't wanna hurt his feelings. HELP!

Update:

Hey, "Old Man" ~ you are too cute!

Update 2:

<<<OURScott>>> He doesn't need anything THAT extreme, but it sounds kinda fun!.....

Just bring it up casually... There's no harm in asking him if he's ever considered changing it up.

The only thing you can't do is demand that he change it... If he doesn't want to, then he shouldn't have to.

    Good luck.

Let him be the way he wants to be. Just ask yourself, how would you feel if someone did the same to you.

However, some would be offended, some won't care and disregard it, and some would listen and take the advice. It's totally dependent on the person.

If I was you i would leave it for now as you have just started this romantic relationship. But im sure you know the longer you go out with him the more control you have on the way he looks.

One of the "laws" of life:Men marry a woman thinking they'll never change and then they do.Women marry a man thinking he'll change and he never does.

You can make a suggestion or offer a trim but don't push it.If you make it an issue, you'll regret it.

Does he tell you how to look?

Hell, I gave up a ponytail last year that I'd been growing for 15 years to get a little.

She took it with her to have it woven into a belt for herself

For what I got in return, she could have hot-waxed me from head to toe.

I'd be very interested if a Lady of the Lake came up to me and said to me "Do you know how I would like to see you?"

I think that would be a very good chat up line, and take it from there.

I would run around in circles crying.

Nah, I probably would consider it, especially is there is nookie involved.
