Brief story: A friend of mine was dating a nice girl. A friend of his girlfriend said she also wanted a nice boyfriend. Being a good friend and knowing I'm a great guy, he suggested me. She seemed interested. He then showed her a few pictures I had posted online (nothing weird or freaky)... And I never heard from her.

Are all people like this? Or would you get to know somoene before you decide to move on?

A girl I knew in elementary school added me as a friend on Myspace last summer. I HATE Myspace, and only check it when it tells me something happened. Anyway, we messaged back and forth, and decided to "catch up" sometime. I got her number and everything. After a few voicemails and unanswered messages, I gave up.

Well, a few weeks ago, I messaged her again just for the heck of it. She responded saying she was busy with family issues last summer and forgot about getting together. I asked her again, and she said sure. We ended up going bowling almost 2 weeks ago, and I paid. When I dropped her off, I asked her to let me know when she was working so we could catch a movie or something. She said she would do so in a Myspace message.

Two weeks later, nothing. Did she forget again? Or was she just not into me? What should I do?

We rarely talk... But she knows who I am. She wished me a happy birthday on Facebook this summer. I don't know her on a personal level, but... How can I do that? Just spontaneously ask her to dinner? Or start by asking her to join me and a few guys doing our homework together? Any help is appreciated!

When I was in high school, I remember a situation in my study class. We were sitting down, and a girl was showing us her pictures from when she had gone to Italy. Suddenly, the guy on the other side of her gets up and goes behind her, like he was going to look at the pictures over her shoulder. However, when I look over at him, he has his eyes closed and is sniffing/smelling her neck!

Say you meet a girl that's single, but pregnant... Would you date her? Why or why not?

My sister is looking to become either a radiologist or a nuclear medicine technologist. I've heard that health careers are decent-paying, but won't break the bank. They are more about helping people. I will be a junior in college, and I attend a four-year public school, but out-of-state. However, my major (chemical engineering) offers well-paying careers right upon graduation.

My question is: Should she go to a private, four-year college for this career? Will she be able to pay off her loans and not have financial issues?

There are some for sale in my area... Anyone recommend them or had any experiences with them?

For the four tires and four rims, he's asking 600... He claims no dents or scratches. Good or bad?

I found a song that I like on a Myspace music page. However, all I can do is add it... I can't download it or anything. I tried to download it on other programs, but can't find the song. I thought that maybe if I asked the artist, he would send me the file... But I can't find any way to contact him (message, add as a friend, etc.). I'm not much of a Myspace guru... Can anyone help?

I live in New England, and I've heard that they don't have them in the South... I'm curious as to how many of you know what a "rotary" or "traffic circle" is and if you've ever driven in one?

On average, I'd say I drive through one a day...

I have a hard time meeting new girls... I have a great personality (I think...haha) and I often see girls looking at me. But I don't have the guts to go over and just start talking. If I see a girl looking at me or making eye contact, do I just go walking over by myself? What if she's with friends or family? And what is the first thing I should say?

I typically find the slash/thriller movies hilarious... I've seen all the Friday the 13th. I plan on seeing all of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, and the Halloween movies... I am a 20-year-old college student. I live on-campus during the school year, and with my parents during the summer. I am a very light drinker, and am not a very big party person. I'm a good student, and have a full-time internship in the summer. All's good, except I haven't had a date in over three years! I have problems meeting decent girls that don't get drunk and sleep around all the time, since I am not very fond of the party scene... I am a conservative, reserved kind of guy... I had a group of guys over my house last weekend to play some low-stakes poker. We had one dollar buy-ins, so that nobody would be losing their paycheck... At max, they'd lose four or five bucks.

At any rate, one of my 'friends' never pays attention, and makes every one of his turns a 5-minute dilemma. After playing for about 45 minutes, he says he's not playing anymore. At this point, he's up three dollars. So he sits there and watches the rest of us play for another hour and a half! Meanwhile, some of us are out a few bucks and looking to try to get our money back, but we can't because this guy isn't playing. How do I tell this guy that we're there to play cards for fun, and to stop being a cheap a**hole and worrying about his money all the time?

I have never had a "best friend", or even a group of close friends. The friends I have now are totally unreliable (you can read one of my previous questions about them). I also have only had one girlfriend, which was a short 2-month thing about 3 years ago. Sometimes I just get depressed and lonely. How do people find someone to be close to and be able to tell your life stories to?
