Where can I find velvet lining for drawers?

I got a dresser from a friend-- good quality. I'd like to make the drawers a little fancier by putting a velvet type liner in them, like the kind they now sell in upscale dressers. I've checked at the stores, and they have contact brand papers, but nothing with a finer fabric. I did find a felt type liner with an adhesive backing, but it was in a utility green color. Any suggestions on a DIY liner that would be fancier for drawers? Thanks! I appreciate any suggestions.

get your self some fairly heavyweight cardboard or some thin masonite and some spray adhesive for fabric, then measure the bottom of your drawers and cut the piece of cardboard or masonite to the right size , then follow the directions on the spray adhesive, or can use fabric tape... then adhere the material ..in your case... velvet to the boards making sure to wrap it around the bottom of the board a little ways ..say about 2 inches and attach it to the underside

then measure the sides of the drawers and make pieces for the sides too if you want

and stick them to the sides with a good quality 2 sided tape

if you want them to be more of a "padded" look, add some fabric batting before wrapping the boards with the velvet
