I uncheck it at the bottom, but how do I turn OFF COMPLETELY this option? I have checked in settings, but don't see an option to turn it OFF.

Can someone please direct me on how to turn this off?

I don't like FB and I don't use it. And I don't want Yahoo shaking hands with my facebook account. This is a turn off, Yahoo.

Very shortly as I understand it, John Kerry will be sworn in as Secretary of State. So this in effect means, she may NEVER testify... How do you feel about this?

This is a tough one because it may send someone to die, who in theory could be innocent...

I read all of the explanatory voting literature that is mailed to my home. That never gets thrown in the recycle bin until it is completely read through, and researched before I make my decisions.

It's a very small, compact shelf system if that matters. It has cd and mp3 capability, but I can only get the one station. I'd like to get more than that, so how do I rig it to do so? It came with an "antenna" and wire, but no matter what I do, or how I attach/ position it, it doesn't help with tuning and receiving other stations... Thanks in advance for any advice.

I recently had to change out TV because it flat lined. So replacement works fine, but I cannot get the DVD player to show up on tv. I got close the other night, because I got sound, but no picture. The dvd player itself works perfectly, but it's something with the lines; ie., line IN/OUT, or the channel setting that I cannot figure out. I went to channels 02, 03, "line1" "line 2" and "SVHS" manually changing it on the tv. I have also played with the TV remote, and hit the "tv/dvd" button on the dvd remote. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Also: TV is NOT a flat screen, or HDTV if that matters--conventional box type tv set.

I DO NOT want to do it. He also is the onsite manager, and maintenance person. He seems like a reasonable person. I just moved in there, and a plumbing problem came up. He asked if I wanted to leave my key with him, so the plumber can have access to the unit, so I don't have to take time off of work. I told him I misplaced the spare key (which is actually the truth) and that I would prefer to be there anyway, to find out what the problem is. What is a polite way of telling him "No, I don't want to give you the key to my new home." ?? I know this is just business and I don't think he would take it personally, but I just don't want to be singled out and suffer consequences if he takes it the wrong way. Does anyone have prior experience with this? Thanks!

I have a few offers out there, and I don't want to make a mistake and not calculate enough for the closing costs. How are they calculated, and what would be the going rate on a property sold for $125K? I know there are other variables, but can someone point me to a reference, or industry standards? Transaction will be in state of CA.

I got a dresser from a friend-- good quality. I'd like to make the drawers a little fancier by putting a velvet type liner in them, like the kind they now sell in upscale dressers. I've checked at the stores, and they have contact brand papers, but nothing with a finer fabric. I did find a felt type liner with an adhesive backing, but it was in a utility green color. Any suggestions on a DIY liner that would be fancier for drawers? Thanks! I appreciate any suggestions.

I also would like to include some lentils, and also some barley as a starch. I bought some carrots/celery/ potatoes. I want to throw all this into the crockpot, so it's ready when I come home. My aunt told me to put a ham hock in it for flavor, but I would prefer to keep it vegetarian. I have worcestershire sauce, and tomato paste.

I would appreciate some tips on spices/ sauces to add for this, and if I should yield the lentils and barley until the last 30 minutes of the cycle, or should I add them along with the beans in the morning? Please be patient with me; I don't cook much (I survive on sandwiches and salads mostly!) and am trying to learn what I can along the way :)

I would like to find a portal that can route me to only American made products. Preferrably a store locally. If not, then if you know of one that is online that can sell American only products. And then the person you WERE talking to, just talks to them instead of saying "can you give us one moment please, and I will be right with you".

Rude on both counts. More importantly, it just isn't professional.

I really hate that. That is probably one of my biggest pet peeves at work, because it happens so often around here. What can I do to help things when this happens, with out being rude?

I am trying to burn a playlist onto a cd, in my itunes, and it won't work. The error prompt says:

"Disc Burner or software not found" I put in a data disc, and still, the same prompt. I know I have burned a disc in the last few months from this very same pc, so what gives? How else can I email this music to a friend, who would be able to burn this playlist for me?

I'm not very "digital files" savvy, so any answers would be appreciated. Thanks.

I bought a new camera a few days ago, and took the SD card from my old camera (with vacation pics on it, or so I thought) and put it into the new camera. Did I erase all pics by putting the old SD card into a new device? There are only a handful of pics on the card, from just playing with the new camera, but I thought it would keep all of the orig vacation pics/ anything captured on it, until removed. I appreciate all suggestions and answers. Thanks.
