Has anyone had good experience/bad experience buying glasses online?

Do not buy online. If they make a mistake in the prescription, they will not fix it. You cannot guarantee that a frame will fit correctly if you don't try it on, and if you don't know how to correctly interpret a prescription or don't know the differences among lens materials/indexes, you'll not get the best product you could have. We opticians are trained to make sure you get the right thing the first time.

I have bought two pair from two different " on line" companies. The first company had the right pair of glasses but absolutely the wrong prescription. The second company zunni had neither the right pair of glasses nor the right prescription. States should start to bar these companies from filling prescriptions on line.
