Giles Corey because he stood his ground and refused to give a yay or nay plea to the charge of witch craft and died when they piled stones on his body to gain a confession out of him.  He would not say a word because no matter what your plea was at the time the church confiscated your property (which he had a considerable amount in Danvers, Salem, what is now Peabody, Marblehead and Beverly MA) and he wanted his property to go to his descendants.  He had an incredible amount of backbone to do that.

Aside from which, the man is my 9x great grandfather and I think it would be cool to meet him.
